Forest between pine forest, scrubland and garrigue, a place where many animal species live in San-Gavino-di-Carbini

On the 733 hectares of this forest classified as a Natura 2000 zone, between pine forest, scrubland and garrigue, live numerous animal species. During a walk you can observe mouflons, lizards, frogs, but also cows and pigs. It also includes a tree climbing course and 400 metres of via ferrata. At an altitude of 950 metres, you will find the large Ospédale dam lake. You can even try a little swimming, downstream from the dam. Continue the walk to admire the most vertiginous waterfall of the island.
