A remarkable museographic space in a former roadhouse, a few steps from the turning point of the extreme south, in Sartene.
The Conservatoire du Littoral and the Conseil Départemental de la Corse-du-Sud have taken the initiative to convert this former cantonnière house into a remarkable museographic space. Six exhibition rooms spread over two floors are dedicated to the richness and history of the site. Themes include biodiversity and the presence of man during the two world wars. We learn that the inn was once a customs post. We discover the geology of the site and how erosion has sculpted taffoni and animals, including the lion of Roccapina.
