Proposal of a road trip around Sartene by following a footpath through the scrubland

Take the D69 to the old Spin'a Cavallu bridge. Following the D65 eastwards, a road leads to the Foce belvedere and its viewpoint over the plain. 8 km south of Sartène from Gianuccio, a path cuts through the maquis. You cross a stream, a ridge and the locality of Bocca di Favalettu, to reach a smooth rock that emerges from a mass of granite boulders, offering panoramic views of Valinco, the bay of Figari to the south and the Alta-Rocca.
