THE CHURCH OF THE TRINITÀ AND SAN-GIOVANNI
Church dating from the century, built in polychrome stone and decorated with bear and bull sculptures.
The Pisan church of the Trinità and San Giovanni, in the cemetery, will not fail to attract curiosity with its strange ornaments. Dating back to the 12th century, it is built in polychrome stones. The church is decorated with sculptures of bears and bulls. Its fresco painted in the 15th century is rather well preserved and has kept its shimmering colours. It represents the four doctors of the Catholic church: Saint-Augustin, Saint-Grégoire, Saint-Ambroise and Saint-Jérôme.
