Corsica's highest peak, Mont Cinto, rises to 2,706 metres at Asco.
Monte Cinto, Corsica's highest peak, reaches an altitude of 2,706 meters. There are several hiking routes to its summit, including the classic west-facing route, which starts from the resort of Asco. The trail starts at the Asco parking lot, through a forest of laricio pines. Follow this easy route, with the stream on your left, to the small Tighjettu bridge, perched at 1,488 metres above sea level. This demanding ascent to the south-east takes you to the Argentu lake.

The highest mountain in Corsica, a beautiful place with breathtaking views. Attention good shoes recommended and many difficult passages. For experienced walkers.
