When you don't go to a restaurant during your holidays and cook yourself, there's nothing more important than knowing where to buy seafood here in Corsica. Guillaume Matteoli is a figure of the fish market in Corsica and for good reason, in 2018 he received the Excellence Award for his fish market located in the Montesoro district. When you enter this small family fish shop, the school of fish (this is also called the seafood display) is impressive. Loaded with fish and shellfish, it does not mislead: here fishing is the day. Capons, red mullets, St. Pierre, dances, clams, cuttlefish, lobsters and langoustines were caught in the early morning. Be careful, however, the fish shop is closed on summer afternoons, as the heat does not allow for proper storage of the fish. An ideal place to offer yourself, for example, a seafood platter (corsican, of course) to enjoy with friends on the beach. An iodized experience that must be enjoyed.
