ÉCOCENTRE DU PÉRIGORD
This associative structure was created in 2003. He focuses his training on two strong themes: eco-construction and permaculture. The training courses are intended for groups of adults from twelve to fifteen people who can be accommodated on site in a cottage and, most recently, on a camping site. The choice of training courses is strongly linked to today's ecological challenges. The speakers have strong pedagogical skills and are above all people in the field who know how to transmit their knowledge and passion. Internships in straw or raw earth construction are part of the program. The Centre insists on its desire to be a player in energy renovation, as shown by the five pavilions built using eco-construction processes. Today, new modules are emerging with the implementation of renewable energy production systems. It thus achieves its objective of experimenting with ecological techniques relating to buildings, energy, water and landscape. As for permaculture, the aim of the training courses is to understand and be able to apply permaculture in its entirety. Visits to the Centre are organized throughout the year. A stopover that is rich in teaching!
