It's the Niolu sports association. Paul-André Acquaviva, a qualified canyoning instructor and mountain leader, and his team organize year-round canyoning trips in and around Niolu. The environment is ideal for canyoning, with the Ruda site in the Scala di Santa Regina and the Frascaghiu site in the Valduniellu forest. For an introduction to climbing, head for Cuccia. There's even an adventure park for adults and children at the Poppaghia forest house, on the road to the Col de Verghia.
