THE ORATORY OF THE BROTHERHOOD OF SAINT AANTOINE
Oratory still used today for brotherhood meetings and ceremonies in Calvi
As the oratory is currently closed, the works usually exhibited there can be viewed in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Visitors will be able to appreciate two frescoes dating from 1510 and 1513, including a triptych depicting a Crucifixion and Annunciation, a Christ on the Cross from the late 17th century, a 15th-century statue of St. Anthony the Abbot seated, and another of the same saint from 2006 by Balinese artist Toni Casalonga.
