House near the oratory, once the Calvi residence of the bishops of Sagone and Napoleon's godfather
Located close to the Saint-Antoine oratory, the 15th-century Maison Giubega was the Calvi residence of the bishops of Sagone, as well as that of Napoleon's godfather, who must have found it pleasant to vacation on another part of Corsica's coastline. Now owned by the army, this property is unfortunately not open to visitors. However, don't hesitate to take a tour of the citadel to see the various bastions and enjoy the bird's-eye view over the bay!
