COUVENT DU SAINT-ESPRIT
Convent in a peaceful setting welcoming women and girls for training retreats or a time of rest.
In a region rightly nicknamed the "garden of Corsica", overlooking a beautiful Balagne valley, the former monastery founded by the Franciscans was donated to the diocese of Ajaccio in 2016. In September 2019, the young community of the Rosier de l'Annonciation, also known as the "Sisters of Lourdes", will occupy the convent for a trial period with a view to official installation by the bishop. The Sisters are in charge of restoring and refurbishing the convent - a major undertaking! The site is also used as a hostel for women and girls.
