URBINO POND
The Étang d'Urbino is Corsica's second-largest lake, covering 790 hectares, and is home to over a hundred species of birds.
Second largest pond in Corsica with 790 hectares, it is a fragile environment and therefore protected, but it is possible to walk around it by crossing the Pinia forest, composed of maritime pines and junipers, then the marshes, the hills and the beach. This protected site is home to more than a hundred species of birds: gulls, lapwings, herons, cormorants, kingfishers, seagulls... Choose to go out in the morning or at the end of the day, when the light is best and the birds less shy. Be quiet and respect their tranquillity.
