This 19th-century Romanesque church is one of Corsica's most renowned for the beauty of its Pisan decoration, consisting of a bichromatic pattern of white limestone slabs and green serpentine from the Bevincu riverbed, organized in a checkerboard pattern and horizontal bands. Various motifs, including sheaves of wheat, hands and scissors, adorn the façade. Inside, frescoed murals can still be seen. Legend has it that the church was built by angels in one night!
