It is the Venaco Cheese Fair. It brings together about forty shepherds from the mountains for this great festival to promote Corsican farmhouse cheese. Since its creation in 1996, A Fiera di u Casgiu has become an essential regional event for the world of pastoralism and cheese production. The fair is structured around two key events: the Regional Cheese Competition and the Pastoralism and Sustainable Development Meetings. The main food and craft industries of the island are also represented.
