Authentic and picturesque farmhouse inn offering a real Corsican cuisine with a very good price-performance ratio

It's one of those authentic, picturesque farmhouse inns in the hinterland, where people come to discover true Corsican cuisine, with the guarantee of irreproachable raw materials. We love the exceptional setting: a former olive press, masterfully restored by François Garelli. There are only two menus, one for adults and the other for children, offering excellent value for money. If you've had too much of the homemade digestif, you can sleep in. This is our favorite spot in this micro-region!

Une nouvelle magnifique découverte culinaire en Corse, à Venzolasca, dans cette magnifique micro-région de la Casinca. Une ferme auberge, "U Fragnu", dans un cadre exceptionnel, avec un panorama sur l'étang de Biguglia et les iles au large. Un tout inclus, pas de surprise de tarif, tout est compris, et pour cela, vous dégustez plusieurs plats typiques, copieux et authentiques et naturels. A recommander !!!

très bon accueil.
plats excellents et copieux avec des produits de qualité donc déjeunez léger le midi et évitez le 4 heures avant d'y aller :-)
cadre magnifique intérieur comme extérieur.
n'oubliez pas de réserver et prévoyez 3 bonnes heures (voire 4).

Très bonne auberge avec un cadre magnifique et très romantique je trouve.seul bémol la nationale qui passe à côté mais au restaurant on n'entend pas les voitures.
Le repas était succulent avec une soupe corse et pour moi une assiette de charcuterie.
Le prix est correct. Nous aurions aimé avec le vin inclus dedans ou l'apéritif

the only drawback is the reception which is not always very friendly with tourists, the owner and the owner are unaware of and speak only the buildings.
The duration of the meal is also take into account allow 3:30 without the digestive!

This restaurant is actually a former mill (U fragnu means the mill). First of all, ask to eat on the terrace, the view is exceptional: when the evening fall and that the shades lie on the valley to the sea, you will see the lights gradually igniting, in Bastia. Difficult to more authentic: it is magnificent.

Let us to table, and there, it is best to come the empty belly: the dishes, delicious and traditional (special mention soup corsican and fritters brocciu) follow one another tirelessly; if you are friendly for him, the owner will not be long in posing on your table a bottle or two of muscat or myrthe... mmh, it is difficult not to fall in love with Corsican!
