Located in the former cooperage of the Saline Royale, this museum is dedicated to Claude Nicolas Ledoux. 60 models are required to trace his works, which is also the only one in Europe dedicated to an architect. The tour reveals eclectic achievements such as theatres, private mansions and octroi buildings and reveals his most utopian projects. We like to linger on the dream of the ideal city of Chaux, never realized but sketched many times by the architect, which he would have liked to see developed around the Saltworks.
