HOLY SEPULCHRE CHAPEL
With a small hiking trail overlooking the hills of Baume-les-Dames, the small wooden chapel invites you to your Sunday walk. Built around 1540 at the request of a Canon bisontin Claude Pignet, in order to accommodate the victims of the plague, his bedside made up of three bays in the flamboyant Gothic style offers a glass of stained glass. Above all, it contains colourful, beautifully preserved sculptural sculptures such as the Holy Sepulchre, the painful stone virgin and polychrome wood (Virgin and Saint John). Guided tours will help you understand and appreciate local stories and anecdotes inseparable from this treasure from the Baumois country.
