Although you are in the heart of the historic sector of Besançon, you are transported right into the nearby Haut-Doubs. The rustic atmosphere where wood is in the spotlight offers a warm and welcoming setting. The large Comtoise clock reminds us that we are in the watchmaking capital. Regional products are in the spotlight, with no less than six fondues flavoured according to the seasons, meats are well selected, snails are cooked in homemade butter, cheeses, especially cancoillottes, are excellent (pure traditional homemade and homemade, nothing else). The local producers have priority as to the products used and chosen among the best. Pascal Colas, to the rhythm of his travels in the region and beyond, brings back his finds that we find on the plate. As for the wine list, in fact there is none... the originality is to go down to the cellar where the bottles are displayed with the prices on them. A good immersion in Franche-Comté through its gastronomy.

We took a cheese (savoury as starters), excellent and then the Neufchâteloise Fondue (very good) accompanied by real cuts Summits - Doubs and Vin Jaune!!!!!
Ourselves down to the cellar to choose a bottle of wine.

The little bonus: super friendly welcome and family atmosphere (one controversial with your neighbours at table).
