Completely renovated and redesigned, the Best Western Citadel is worth the trouble of being in a court that at first glance does not allow to guess what it is hiding from. Once the doors are crossed, you will probably be conquered by the reception hall. Design and industrial, large bays and jazzy music. The rooms are completely comfortable, but we recommend reserving a suite (the only one) overlooking the Citadel, the other rooms overlooking the courtyard. Do not miss the breakfast, very complete and which promises the tasting of cheese, county and cancoillotte. A short walk from the Black Gate, the hotel is a great place to take the time to stroll in the old streets of La Besançon.
