The nautical society of Besançon was created in 1865 with the aim of bringing together passion, arts and sports enthusiasts. Today, it's a reference structure for starting in water sports and learning to handle canoe paddle or rowing. These sports are available for 9 or 10 years with only one obligation: know how to swim. The SNB organizes the Besathlon every year, to make individually or as a team, with 5 km of kayak, 19 km in mountain biking and 7 km on foot.
