For students, it is the Regional Centre for University and School Works that manages the allocation of housing. Applications are made from late January to end April by telephone (Tel: 08 36 05 05 25) or the Internet (www.crous-besancon.fr). The Residence has residences at the Bouloie campus, in the city centre and in the Planoise district. Several types of accommodation are offered, from the simple room to the three or four-room apartment. The room area is 9 m 2, for rent from 157 € per month to 260 € per month for a renovated room. The apartments are between 16 and 50 m 2.
