THE INTRANQUILE
Michel Mechiet opened a monumental bookstore under the cupola of the former Dames de Battant chapel. L'Intranquille exposes more than 100,000 references on 5 levels stretching over a surface of 1200 m². The project was colossal: rehabilitating a 18th-century religious building listed as Historical Monuments of the city which has already hosted a cinema formerly (Le Plazza) in order to create a new the Comté city's temple of book. But after many work and much elbow grease, it was a success! The place is now ready to offer you books, cartoon, paper mill; well arranged beautiful books on the 2 km of shelf of the establishment. Happy reading!
