The association was founded in 1989 and now comprises 36 small urban agglomerations. They have the label «Petites Cités de Character» (SCCP) because they present all the historical traces of an urban activity and have an urban, architectural and landscaping. The association aims to preserve, value and promote this heritage that it wants to make living. A good way to select your character steps from your stay in Franche-Comté. On a simple phone request, you can obtain a brochure presenting these comtoises characters of character so as not to miss one!
