LUCIEN-ROY MUSEUM
Museum of the Armies in Beure which retraces in an almost exhaustive way all the conflicts in which France was involved.
The Musée des Armées has set itself the goal of providing an almost exhaustive account of all the conflicts in which France was involved. To achieve its goal, it needed no fewer than 12 exhibition rooms, 200 mannequins in uniform and a multitude of wartime objects and everyday utensils: posters, medals, soldiers' bowls... To put you in the mood, a huge model depicts life in the trenches during the First World War, and two rooms are devoted entirely to the role of women in the war. A visit that's both instructive and emotionally charged, allowing you to appreciate the suffering experienced by soldiers during armed conflicts.
