DISTILLERIE MARCEL MICHEL FILS SUCCR.
In 1888, the Michel family distilled a typical spirits from the highlands of Franche-Comté. And that's until 2013. That year, the passionate person Dominique Rousselet took over this institution to pursue the tradition of distillation, particularly Gentian. Remember that it takes fifteen years to pick up a good foot of gentians to produce alcohol. Gentian, a "muscled" with a slightly special taste at 45 °, is highly appreciated in the region and is part of the folklore of Jura and Haut-Doubs. Today, the shop also offers other regional specialties, including hatching, a liqueur with a delicious raspberry taste, much appreciated by aperitif! So if you are surprised by such atypical spirits with powerful and resilient aromas, other nice local productions will delight you. A beautiful distillery in the purest tradition, which has not lost its identity, quite the contrary.
