The Ascension long weekend is a blessing for gourmets in Sarlat: on Thursdays and Fridays local producers delight visitors to the narrow streets of the medieval town, and this to all the delicacies on offer: honey, wine, pork, strawberries or mushrooms, and of course the foie gras and caviar of Neuvic.
Without forgetting the homemade beers and cheese. Animations punctuate the tastings, you can observe a truffle digging or a duck cutting followed by the preparation of recipes, attend the pressing of walnut oil, listen to conferences, and even visit a lively farm located rue Tourny and an organic pole.
