Crossing the Doubs River without trying winter sports is simply unthinkable! The landscapes of the Mont d'Or are a privileged and grandiose decoration for alpine skiing and cross-country skiing, and in summer for splendid outdoor strolls in a fully preserved decor. With its six relays (Jougne, Hospitals-Old, Rochejean, Hospitals-New, Les Longevilles-Mont d'Or, Metabief), the resort of Metabief-Mont d'Or is the largest Alpine skiing area in the Jura : 40 km of alpine skiing (26 tracks, a snow) and 230 km of Nordic skiing, not counting the famous downhill downhill that one faces with apprehension or the summer luge for other sensations !
