Exit city stress, discover the forests of Haut-Doubs as a steam locomotive, peak speed 20 km/h. On a distance of about 7 km you will reach the station La Fontaine Ronde. Originally, this line of railway, created in 1875, connected Pontarlier station in Vallorbe (Switzerland) to 27 km. But "Coni'iron" has a project to re-establish the entire line. In 1969, she ceased all activity for revival in 1993 under the will of a passionate association. This locomotive of another time, a "030 Tigerli", is equipped with 4 open platform cars, a bar wagon, a restaurant car and 2 postal cars. The low speed of the train makes it possible to better appreciate the landscape. Two curiosities await you: a coal and a perennial source of which only are recorded worldwide. Cherry on the cake: You can book a meal for at least 25 people, with a fondue, or a franc menu, to 30 € for adults and coffee included, 15 € for children.
