Métabief is a village in the Doubs department, in the heart of the Jura mountains. It is part of the Métabief ski area, which extends from 950 m to 1,430 m altitude, at the foot of the Mont d'Or. The village enjoys a privileged location, with over 40 km of skiable slopes. The resort also boasts a fun beginners' area reserved for children, called JuraKid Park. Métabief is also linked to other ski areas such as Piquemette and Superlongevilles. In addition to downhill skiing, the resort also offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and dog sledding. In addition to skiing, you can enjoy horseback riding, visits to local farms and winter caving expeditions. The village also offers après-ski entertainment, with a bowling alley, cinema, bars and restaurants.
