PEUGEOT ADVENTURE MUSEUM

In the heart of the city of Sochaux, discover with friends or family the backstage of the Peugeot epic! Founded in the 1980s on the initiative of Pierre Peugeot, who wanted to make the history of the brand part of France's heritage, this museum retraces, on the very land of the family that started it all, a wonderful adventure that began in 1810 and continues today. In short, two centuries of French industrial history presented in a privileged setting!

Installed on the industrial site of the former brewery of the city, the Peugeot Adventure Museum honors the automobiles and the many different objects manufactured by the famous car manufacturer and its former brands. Between permanent and temporary collections, you will stroll in this unique and unusual place, among vast collections of cars of course, but also a set of historical documents, and a nice range of appliances and products also manufactured by the brand with the lion: sewing machines, coffee grinders, radios, household appliances, various tools ... without forgetting the two wheels!

Every year, the museum attracts crowds from all over the world: nearly 60,000 visitors flock to discover the 8,000 square meters of exhibition space. The program includes the discovery of the 130 vehicles on display, the 50 bicycles and motorcycles presented and the 3,000 or so everyday objects made by the brand. From Monday to Friday, and by appointment, the visit of the museum can be completed by a visit of the factory. This guided tour of the Stellantis Group's industrial site in Sochaux is conducted by guides who are employees of the group. It takes about two hours to visit both sites. If you come with your family, children are not forgotten either, with an educational tour dedicated to young people aged 7 to 12. During the spring vacations, a treasure hunt is even organized to make the experience even more fun. If your child is passionate about this industrial world, you should know that the Peugeot Adventure Museum organizes birthday parties on Wednesday afternoons, with a guided tour, birthday cake and a miniature car... Peugeot! Finally, there is a brasserie, whose menu is prepared by the chef Ludovic Maire. On the menu, attractive prices and gourmet dishes with a focus on Eastern European products.
