This 27-metre waterfall is an exceptional site on the border between France and Switzerland.
It is an exceptional site, on the border between France and Switzerland. Created naturally long before our era by a landslide, the Saut du Doubs is a 27 m waterfall, particularly active at the time of the snowmelt, in autumn. The Doubs flows into the Challeixon lake, 3 km long, before resuming its normal course. See downstream the huge Châtelot dam (74 m), which holds back the waters of Lake Moron. Allow 1 hour round trip. Approximately 1 hour's stopover to see the waterfall (400 metres on foot to reach the viewpoints).

A faire de préférence apres une ou 2 journée pluvieuse , le débit du doubs n'en sera que plus important et donc la chute d'eau plus spectaculaire
