The vine in Champlitte is a historic tradition dating from the th century… The Coteaux de Champlitte then became a reference in the region: in the th century, it was even the city's main resource. A terrible epidemic in the th century and the First World War were fatal to the chanitois vineyard. However, in the 1970 s, the CAG (Grand Vineyard Chanitois) was released from land to exploit 35 hectares of vines (200 times less than in the old days…) The area is close to the Castle and offers a possibility to park several campers. The reception staff will be happy to share the different wines.
