Fougerolles kirsch has been recognised as an AOC for a decade now, so the cherries from this small town deserve a celebration! On Saturday, you can attend the election of Miss Cherry, who wins her weight in cherries! On Sunday, the whole region comes to celebrate the tasty red fruit around the distilleries that are still in operation today: parade of floats, folklore animations, traditional music, sale of cherries, jams, clafoutis. Everything is gathered to celebrate this delicious fruit symbol of love.
