DISTILLERIE LEMERCIER FRERES

This family-owned distillery created in 1811 is the oldest in Fougerolles. Operated from generation to generation, it is still active and offers you to discover, in about an hour, the distiller's job through tours organised in its centenary premises. You can, therefore, discover successively what you see with detailed explanations: the still room in operation, the storage magazine for the alcoholic drinks produced and the bottling line. To finish and to let you appreciate the wide range of spirits, a free tasting of a selection of regional products is offered (Griottines à la Bleue, Griottes au kirsch but also spirits, old-fashioned Pastis La Bleue, Pastis 1811, various absinths from 45 to 72%, sour, Desle Nicolas whisky, various aperitifs, etc).
