CARMELITE CHAPEL
The chapel of the Carmelite is simple and easy to look at, providing its facade with carved stone door. It was built in 1667, a few years after the installation of this religious community in Gray (1644) Since the 1970 s, it has been home to the departmental repository of sacred art. The chapel, therefore, took on a small museum, containing some treasures. Inside, you can admire a chair in carved wood, statues (including a Virgin to the children from the Burgundian School of the th century), a few frescoes… Each summer, the chapel hosts a temporary exhibition dedicated to the Arts professions.
