ALDERMEN'S TOWER MUSEUM
A beautiful Gothic building from a castellated belfry, witness the old importance of the local bourgeoisie. The climb of the 146 steps leads you to a superb panorama on the Jura and the Vosges. This is where one of the oldest museums in France, opened in the th century. There are paintings by Jules Adler, famous local figure, and works of the th and th centuries and a collection of Gallo-Roman archaeology, partly devoted to the cult of water. There are also seven of the sculptures found during excavations on the outskirts of the thermal baths in 1865 as well as the funeral stelas dating from the beginning of our era.
