KO-SOMETSUKE.2K
Traditional Asian restaurant in Arcachon offering a homemade cuisine based on local, fresh and quality products.
Ko-Sometsuke is the Japanese name given to the porcelains hanging on the restaurant walls. We start to discover this address that is making the buzz in Arcachon. The prices displayed are a little higher than those of a traditional Asian restaurant, and for good reason... everything is really homemade with local, fresh and quality products. Behind the stoves, we find the Khong family from Cambodia. The chef makes dim sum pork, duck, veal, fish or vegetables with a lighter paste that is dipped in a yuzu sauce. It's kind of the house's specialty. We then enjoyed a very original wok of fresh ginger mussels. Desserts are not the poor relatives of the menu, far from it. To finish off gently, the choco n'K made with a creamy chocolate with tonka beans, homemade whipped cream and poached fruit, was perfect. You can see the restaurant with its white facade highlighted in blue. Inside, nothing flashy: light wooden tables, transparent chairs and a contemporary bistro decoration.
