BISCUITERIE LANTERNIER
We have to go back to the time of Louis XVI to know the genesis of this famous biscuit. This sweet was a hit with the king and Queen Marie-Antoinette. At the time of the Revolution, the king's cook fled and found refuge with the Lanternier family, in a small village in eastern France... Montbozon! Since then, the recipe for the royal biscuit has been passed down from generation to generation and the secret of the recipe is jealously guarded. So much for the legend! The biscuit factory has now diversified: the biscuits are available in vanilla, chocolate and candied fruit flavours. You can also try the almond crackers and the mirabelle cat's tongues, the plain, lemon and apple cinnamon shortbread, the hazelnut spritz, the lime, blackcurrant and pistachio delicacies and many other flavours to discover.
