CASTLE HOTEL
This beautiful residence consists of two buildings in L preserved some elements of the construction of the 1406 th (!) and th centuries. His story is linked to that of Pesmes, his seigneury and the families of Montrambert, probably the builders of the castle. It is a Châteaurouillaud, Guyon, who expands the house in the middle of the th century. The domain is then sold to the lords of Pesmes. But the Revolution puts an end to gracious succession. The owner, who took part in the king's flight, caught the powder of heels abroad. We stop his father, the Marquis of Choiseul-Stainville, who is finally guillotiné. The hotel des Châteaurouillaud is then sold as a national property and transformed into a farm. The hotel is crumbling. Acquired and beautifully restored by individuals, it is now listed in the Historical Monuments inventory.
