MORICE LIPSI MUSEUM
The museum gathers works by this contemporary sculptor, renowned for his direct work on materials. Morice Lipsi (1898-1986), of his true name Israel Moszek Lipszyc, was born in the late 14 th century in Lodz, Poland and arrived in France at the age of. He settled in Paris from 1933 onwards. It was a contemporary of Chagall, Modigliani or Artists. Some of his works are in Tel Aviv, New York, Tokyo… You can discover here 400 of his sculptures, including «The Knot», «La Spirale» or «Hieros», his most famous works and 300 paintings by his wife, Hildegard Weber-Lipsi.
