Every year, Vesoul plays host to the Festival International des Cinémas d'Asie. The Honorary Golden Cyclo was awarded to Mr. Lee Yong-kwan, President of the Busan International Film Festival, and to Mr. Semih Kaplanoğlu, Turkish director, for their contribution to cinema. The Cyclo d'Or was awarded to BIFF President Lee Yong-kwan, SGIFF President Emily J Hoe, Kazakh director Yerlan Nurmukhambetov and Filipino director Mikhail Red. The Grand Jury Prize went to Asif Rustamov's "Cold as Marble", while the Jury Prize was awarded ex-aequo to Nader Saeivar's "No End" and Kim Min-ju's "A Letter from Kyoto". The NETPAC Jury Prize was also awarded to "Froid comme le marbre" by Asif Rustamov. Finally, the Marc Haaz Prize was awarded to "Froid comme le marbre" by Asif Rustamov.
