Founded in 1882 and installed in the former Ursulines convent dating from the th century. The museum houses ancestral exhibits dating back to prehistory and medieval times, objects of local history (until the th century) and paintings of the th century. On the first floor there are archaeological remains (funeral stelas, tools and villa). The second level is devoted mainly to local artist Jean-Léon Gérôme (1824-1904), a great academic painter.

Sympathique musée local situé dans la capitale haute-saônoise. Il y a régulièrement des expositions temporaires. Bref, un incontournable !
