MOULIN DE BRAINANS
Le Moulin de Brainans is a concert hall set in lush greenery at the foot of the village of Brainans, between Poligny and Lons-le-Saunier in the Jura region. This historic site was once a mill used to grind wheat. Since 1974, it has become a festive and convivial place, with a nightclub, a pizzeria and a bowling alley. In 1995, the Promodégel association moved in, breathing new life into the Moulin. In 2000, the main concert hall was enlarged, and in 2013, a second concert hall, the Club Hall, was created. The Moulin de Brainans offers a varied musical program throughout the year, featuring local, national and international artists. It also organizes cultural events and supports amateur and professional practices. Le Moulin Tourne, meanwhile, enables the Moulin to spread its influence throughout the Jura region. The Moulin de Brainans has held the SMAC (Scène de Musiques Actuelles) label since 2014.
