LES VIRADES DE L'ESPOIR

Every year, on the last weekend of September, Moto Virade 39 organises a motorcycle tour through the Jura. This concentration of motorcyclists makes it possible, thanks to their financial contributions, to make a donation to the association "Vaincre la Mucoviscidose" (Overcoming Cystic Fibrosis). No less than 400 motorcycles and about 700 bikers ride their bikes on a 230-kilometre looped ride. As in the past, the departure is from Dole and the return to the same town via the vineyards, the Lake District and the Bresse Jurassienne. The stages are punctuated by a snack generally offered by the municipalities. The city of Dole and the municipality welcome the participants in the evening over a glass of friendship. It is a vast organization that Moto Virade 39 has been successfully managing for several years. A great initiative that should be highlighted. Let's hope that motorcycle fans respond favourably and in great numbers, whether they come from the new Greater Burgundy-Franche-Comté Region or from far beyond, because this charity event has no borders.
