LES LACS D'ÉTIVAL

Splendid small corner for pleasant walks between water and forest. These two lakes (the Petit and the Large) formed only one of them once and are now separated by narrow moraine. Located at 800 metres above sea level, they are fed by sources and another lake located in the middle of the upstream forest, the lake of Fauge. You can tour the large lake by a road that takes about 4 km. You will discover a waterfall, superb weather, a beach (forbidden swimming) and ducks that will greet you. In winter, the place is magical: frozen lake, calm, snowy nature. This site is also a place of exceptional acoustics that attracts musicians in search of beautiful sounds. An ideal location for walks, walking, cycling, horse riding or even a donkey.
