La Ferme des Huskies is a sports and leisure company based in La Pesse. Founded in 1995, it moved to La Pesse in 2006, at an altitude of 1,200 meters, in the heart of the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park. The company is registered with the Prefecture as a classified installation subject to declaration, and with Jeunesse et Sports. The mushers who work here hold Brevet Fédéral or DEJEPS qualifications. La Ferme des Huskies has between 45 and 50 sled dogs, mainly Siberian Huskies, as well as a few Greenland Eskimos, Alaskan Huskies and Nordic crossbreeds. The dogs are adopted and stay at the Farm for the rest of their lives. The owners of Ferme des Huskies, Dominique and Émile, are certified professional mushers and accompany visitors on small-group outings. They also offer raids in Finland. Ferme des Huskies offers the chance to discover sled dogs and become a musher for a unique experience.
