LAKES OF THE GRAND MACLU AND PETIT MACLU
Go there and contact
These 2 lakes are dominated by the Pic de l'Aigle. Connected to each other by a small natural channel, they are fed by runoff water. The Grand Maclu is 1.1 kilometres long and the Petit Maclu 500 metres long. They are very shallow, on average 4 metres deep. Both private and private, a pleasant shaded path runs alongside them, however, allowing nature lovers to discover a flora rich in rare species (water lilies, licks, reeds, rushes, alders, ash willows). A diversity of micro-landscapes: meadows, peat bogs and forests, especially near the Petit Maclu. Swimming is prohibited.
