Oscar Galea is an art jeweler based in Bordeaux. Since graduating from the Cadiz School of Fine Arts in 1999, he has been creating unique jewelry using an alloy from the aeronautics industry, a mixture of magnesium and aluminum. This material confers exceptional lightness and brilliance. Oscar Galea's jewelry is entirely handmade, the fruit of an intimate relationship with the material. He plays with loads of rupture and inertia to create mobile pieces whose movement is related to the weight of the piece and the movement of the body. His creations are distinguished by their purity of line and modularity, playing with the attributes of the body to transcend it. Oscar Galea shares his vision of contemporary jewelry through singular, daring objects that come to life when worn and activated by the body.
