Les compagnons bâtisseurs d'Aquitaine is an association for integration through housing: it organizes integration workcamps and supervises supported self-rehabilitation initiatives. At its premises on rue Paul Mamert, it runs a tool library to which you can have access. If you need tools to do your work and don't have the means or the inclination to buy them, think about it. Sander, jigsaw, handsaw, trestle, screwdriver, wallpaper stripper, wallpapering table, electrician's box, mason's box... Everything you need to get the job done. When you borrow the tools, an animator will explain how to use them, and you can keep them for a week. To gain access to the tool library, all you need to do is register and bring the following documents with you: annual membership of 8 euros (no extra charge for rental), rent receipt less than three months old, photocopy of civil liability insurance certificate and a deposit (not cashed).
