Restaurant offering menus featuring a wide variety of traditional kobachi ("little bowls").
Trained in Tokyo and now based in Bordeaux, chef Yugo Ishikawa passes on his art in this small, long restaurant, opening in 2019. His Japanese culinary techniques work wonders, and our local produce reveals new flavors, as delicate in presentation as they are in tasting. The menus on offer feature a wide variety of kobachi ("little bowls"), such as crispy tuna, prawn and vegetable tempura, ultra-fresh sashimi, dashi-marinated egg... The desserts, a blend of the two cultures, are also well worth the detour!

Dommage
Service was very prompt and friendly and the dishes were creative and delicious with some good portions for a tasting menu. We opted for a few addons to the tasting menu (Maki roll, tempura shrimp, tuna main course), which are all expressly described and priced.
Loved the plating and experimental twist on some of the classic Japanese dishes. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgable and on the ball.
Total dining experience was 2.5hours and worth every penny.
